Mapping and monitoring of Eco sensitive features
This project involved mapping and monitoring environmentally features like mangroves, mudflats and surrounding area. High resolution multispectral satellite data was used to map mangroves and other intertidal features on year to year basis. This data-driven approach provides invaluable insights into the impact of various factors, such as climate change, deforestation, and coastal development, on these critical habitats. Our work contributes to informed decision-making and effective conservation strategies for safeguarding mangrove ecosystems.
